Delivery Information

We understand that receiving frozen food deliveries can sometimes be tricky. To ensure your meals arrive frozen, we pack them in sustainably insulated boxes with ice packs. If no one is home at the time of delivery, our delivery partner will find a safe spot to leave your package. However, we recommend unpacking them into the freezer as soon as possible.

HOW TO LEAVE DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

In your CART, just above the CHECKOUT button, there’s a field for NOTES. Use this to:

  • Specify delivery instructions for the driver.
  • Add a gift message if sending to a loved one.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE

Orders must be placed before Midnight on Monday for the following delivery days:

Wednesday - Melbourne Metro, Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Echuca, Shepparton.
Thursday - Geelong, Gippsland, Ballarat, Bendigo
Monday - Surf Coast
Tuesday - Mansfield

Our delivery partner will SMS you the day prior with a an ETA for your delivery.

Our third party delivery team text you the day before with an ETA.

If no one's home, they will find a safe place to leave your package.


DELIVERY PRICING

  • Melbourne Metro $19.
  • Regional VIC $25.
  • $250 or more for free delivery.

We also offer pickup from our Alphington site on Monday 10am-5pm.

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION

  • Our courier delivers to the address provided in the shipping details.
  • The courier will follow you delivery instructions where possible. double-check this information in your confirmation email.
  • Deliveries occur on scheduled days. While we cannot request a specific time, you’ll receive a text the evening prior with tracking details and an estimated delivery time.
  • For apartment buildings, deliveries will be left in the lobby if accessible, or near the main entry/buzzers. 
  • For houses, deliveries will be left at the front door.
  • If you have nominated a business address for delivery, please let us know the name of the business.

ADDITIONAL DELIVERY GUIDELINES

  • Include your mobile number in your order to receive delivery updates.
  • Ensure gates are unlocked and pets are secured on delivery day.
  • Deliveries cannot be redirected or rescheduled within 24 hours of the delivery date.
  • The Sweet Potato Kitchen is not responsible for stolen deliveries or deliveries that have been left unattended for an extended period of time. All our boxes come insulated with ice packs but we do recommend unpacking into the freezer as soon as possible, especially in Summer.

CLICK & COLLECT

Prefer to pick up your order? Select the Pick-Up option at checkout to avoid the delivery fee. Collection is available from our Alphington kitchen, 10am-5pm Mondays.
